My ethical guidelines as a locational astrologer
I want you to know exactly where I stand and what you can expect when working with me. Astrology is a powerful tool, and locational astrology in particular can shape life decisions about where to live, work, or travel. Because these decisions touch both your outer circumstances and your inner world, I hold myself to a set of guidelines that keep our work grounded, respectful, and supportive.
I intend to create a space where you feel both guided and acknowledged, where astrology helps you reflect on your inner work as much as your external path. That’s why I approach locational astrology and astrology work in general with compassion, honesty, and care, so you leave our work together not just with insight, but with a deeper sense of connection to yourself and the choices that lie ahead.
1. Compassion at the core.
Astrology can stir up big feelings like excitement, hope, but also doubts or fears. I meet you with compassion first. It’s about you, your life, your emotions, and I am deeply in tune with your vulnerabilities as the chart is shared. Even when we look at difficult placements, my aim is to guide you gently, so you feel seen, not judged.
2. Acknowledgement of your journey.
I honor everything you’ve been through and the work you’ve already done on yourself. Your past matters in how you receive and work with these insights. I’ll always acknowledge the human story behind the chart if shared with me.
3. Gentle guidance.
I’m not here to tell you what to do or where you “must” live or to cherry pick you ‘‘ the best’’ places. That’s not what locational astrology is for. My role is to share what I see, explain the possibilities, and help you connect them with your lived reality. You remain the author of your own story. I’m simply here to hold up the map while you decide which road feels right.
4. Respect for your pace.
Relocation and inner shifts don’t happen overnight. Sometimes you’re ready to leap, and sometimes you’re still processing. Either way is valid. I’ll never push you toward a decision you’re not ready for. Timing belongs to you, not to me. Astrology should serve as a supportive rhythm, not an external pressure. This is also the primary reason why I am doing recorded readings, as the goal of them is for you to playfully work and reflect with all of the personalized information while you learn over time.
5. Confidentiality and trust.
I take your trust seriously. Your birth data, your questions, and your personal reflections will never be shared with anyone else nor will anyone else have access to my website. I want you to feel safe opening up, knowing your story won’t be shared or exploited. That trust is the foundation for honest and vulnerable conversations.
6. Practical wisdom.
I’ll always ground the map in practical terms so you can understand beyond the complex astrological terminology so you can digest it with more ease as you learn through time.
7. Honesty with kindness.
If a place looks challenging, I won’t hide that from you. But I’ll frame it with care, not fear. Challenges don’t mean doom as they are actually connected to opportunities, lessons, or places that may bring up inner work, which is also the core of my approach. On the other side, if I see a placement that could bring more joy or support, I’ll point that out so you feel uplifted and encouraged. Yet, I will show you the pros and cons of both challenging and uplifting placements & lines.
8. Commitment to learning.
I’ll never assume I know everything. Astrology is vast, and locational astrology (which is my primary path) continues to reveal new depths. I stay committed to study, practice, and humility. That way, what I bring to you isn’t rigid or outdated as it’s alive, informed, and growing.
9. Empowerment through awareness.
At the end of a session, I don’t want you dependent on me. I want you walking away clearer, stronger, and more confident in your own choices! The goal is to use astrology as a mirror, helping you see your own strength and direction more clearly as your chosen guide.
10. Non-determinism & free will.
I do not believe astrology removes your agency. Charts and maps describe energies, themes, and potentials, not fixed outcomes or unavoidable destinies. Locational astrology shows how certain places may activate parts of you, not what will happen there. You always retain free will, choice, and creative power in how you engage with any location.
11. Trauma-aware approach.
I work with the understanding that many people carry visible and invisible trauma, especially around themes of home, belonging, displacement, and safety, all of which are central to locational astrology. I avoid language that is shaming, absolute, or destabilizing, and I aim to support regulation, self-compassion, and self-choice rather than re-triggering old patterns.
12. No hierarchy of “better” lives.
I don’t believe some lives, paths, or locations are more “evolved,” “successful,” or “correct” than others. A quiet life can be just as meaningful as a visible one. A challenging place can be just as formative as an easy one. My work does not rank lives or choices.
13. Integration over instant answers.
I value integration more than immediacy. You may not leave with a single clear answer, and that’s intentional. Some insights need time, reflection, and lived experience to unfold. Astrology and locational astrology often work in layers rather than conclusions.
14. Clear boundaries & scope.
I am clear about what I offer and what I do not. I don’t overstep into roles that aren’t mine, and I won’t pretend astrology can solve everything. Healthy boundaries create safer, more honest work, and I see that as part of ethical practice.
15. Respect for your intuition.
Your inner knowing matters. If something I share doesn’t resonate, that’s information, not a failure! I encourage you to check insights against your body, emotions, and lived experience. Astrology should support your intuition, not override it.
16. Slowness as a value.
I intentionally resist urgency, hustle culture, and spiritual productivity. Slowness allows meaning to settle. Reflection allows wisdom to surface. This space is designed to support depth rather than speed.
17. No spiritual bypassing.
Astrology does not exist to “positivity-wash” real experiences. If something is hard, we name it. If grief, confusion, or ambivalence arises, it is welcomed, not rushed past in the name of growth or enlightenment.
25. Relationship over authority.
I don’t position myself as an unquestionable authority. I see this work as a relationship between you, the map, the places, and your inner world. I’m a guide and translator, not a final arbiter of truth.
