January 2026 Moon Astrology Guide
Full Moon in Cancer
We begin this calendar year with a Full Moon in Cancer at 13°01’ on the 3rd of January at 10:02 am.
The Full Moon in Cancer will oppose a Capricorn stellium (Mars at 14°, Venus at 12° both being conjunct the Sun, which is always opposing the Full Moon, obviously so we won’t mention it further, while Mercury is further away at 2°).
Moon is also in trine with the North Node at 12° and in a conjunction with Jupiter at a wider degree (8 degrees apart, Jupiter in Cancer being at 21°).
Electionally speaking, this is an overall great day to utilize if you have anything specific in mind!
New Moon in Capricorn
On January 18, 2026, at 07:51 pm GMT, a New Moon in Capricorn will take place at 28°43’.
While Full Moons oppose the Sun, New Moons are in conjunction with the Sun.
This New Moon will also be conjunct Mercury, Venus, and Mars, and will oppose Jupiter.
It will also sextile Neptune on 29° of Pisces, which also marks the last goodbye to Neptune on its final degree, as near the end of January, it will switch forever in our lifetimes to Neptune in Aries, meaning this New Moon will be great for reflecting and closing the chapter to this transit that was with us since April of 2011.
Besides Neptune, it will also trine Uranus in Taurus, which will also leave us in 2026.

Full Moon in Leo
February 1st, 2026, at 10:08 pm GMT is the time we mark the Full Moon in Leo at 13°03’.
Once again, we have an opposition to an Aquarius stellium, this time including Pluto on a wider or of 10° difference.

Now on February 17th, at exactly 12:00 pm GMT, we have an annual solar eclipse at 28°49.’

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo
On March 3rd, 2026, 11:37 am GMT, we have a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 12°53’ of Virgo.
Opposing Mercury, which is in fall and detriment in Pisces. Six degrees away from Mercury is exalted Venus in Pisces.
New Moon in Pisces
Later on in the month, on the 19th of March 2026, at 01:23 am GMT, New Moon in Pisces is taking place.
It will join the Saturn-Neptune conjunction, one of the major transits of 2026.

On April 2nd, at 02:11 AM GMT, the Full Moon in Libra will take the spotlight, squaring Jupiter, opposing Saturn at a wider degree, and being in trine with Pluto.
New Moon in Aries
It’s time for setting intentions around new, fresh beginnings with the New Moon in Aries on April 18th, at 11:51 AM GMT, which will now square Pluto.

On May 1st, the Full Moon in Scorpio is illuminating us at 11°20’ at 5:22 PM.
This Full Moon will trine Jupiter in Cancer, where Jupiter adores to be, and North Node in Pisces as well, but it will square Pluto (wider square, 6° apart though).
New Moon in Taurus
Taking place on the 16th of May, at 8:00 PM GMT, at 25°57’, New Moon in Taurus, in the sign where it is exalted, will be in conjunction with Mercury and Uranus, and in sextile to Jupiter. Unique!
Full Moon in Sagittarius
Another Full Moon, this one in the sign of Sagittarius, is taking place at the very end of the month on the 31st of May at 08:44 AM GMT at 9°55.
Even though it will oppose Uranus, it will also trine the Neptune-Saturn (now wider) conjunction.

In the very middle of the month, we have a New Moon in Gemini on the 15th of June 2026, at 02:53 AM GMT, on 24°02’. It will trine the North Node
Full Moon in Capricorn
Later on, we have the Full Moon in Capricorn on the 29th of June, 2026, at 11:56 PM GMT at 8°14’, which will square Saturn and Neptune.

It will square Saturn, but be in a conjunction with Mercury.
